After lot of deliberation, I went ahead and bought a domain www.srajaram.com.
Nowadays, I blog on that domain and won't be updating this any longer ...

05:14 pm - Fireworks during lemesia 2005
Lemesia 2005 (mini-olympics kinda thing) started last friday ..There was a fireworks display at the opening, but it lasted for only a minute so i could get only few decent snaps. The first one is a 4 sec exposure. I realised that this was a little less and by the time i increased the exposure, the display was over !

Actually taken by a friend of mine, my first attempt at using a slow shutter speed to get the silky look on waterfalls.

05:37 pm - Croc Snap ..
Vidhya decided to join too ..but she is kind of "ready-to-run" ..and I am supposed to keep a hand on the croc's head to keep it calm :-)

This "lift" was unexpected ..not part of the deal ...we thought that the elephants would just give a pose and vidhya would just sit on their trunks ..but suddenly one of them lifted her ..she screamed out ..but later managed a smile for the photo ..

I was pretty surprised at how tame the bear was ..was very comfortable posing with it as compared to the tiger ..

The orangutan also gives a kiss on the command :-) ..It makes such a slurpy noise that u feel that ur face is going to be full of orangutan saliva !!

These macaques(had to google to find the spelling) were so impatient while sitting on the hand ..One was eating away the thread on vidhya's hand ..

Long long ago, around 3 yrs back , Me and vidhya had been to thailand for a month. It was probably the best trip we ever had ..I had very little work ..so had lot of free time ..These photos are from the Safari World ..amusement park/open safari. It had exactly the same shows as in Universal studios in US and they were as good !

09:46 am - Finished my first major task !
Finally finished uploading all London Pics. I use a site called www.flickr.com to upload my pics, then setup the Blog feature there and then i can post them directly onto livejournal from flickr ..cool !
